Definition and stretch
Twist-outs, wash-and-gos and sets
Styles that define your curl pattern and give it stretch, set on freshly washed hair.
A twist-out sets two-strand twists and takes them down for stretch. A wash-and-go defines curls as they are. A rod set gives an even curl, and flat twists or two-strand twists in your own hair last between wash days.

A wash, a conditioning step and a slow detangle, so every twist starts on soft, stretched hair.
- 0260 min
Step 2: Section and twist
Clean parts, a styler suited to your hair, and two-strand twists the size we agreed.
- 0330 min
Step 3: Set and dry
Under a hood dryer or a diffuser until the twists are dry through.
- 0420 min
Step 4: Take down and shape
We take the twists down with a little oil on our fingers and shape the outline.

Questions about this service
How long will it last?
It depends on your hair, the weather and how you sleep. We tell you what to expect at your consultation, and how to refresh it.
Can you do a wash-and-go on short hair?
Yes. Shorter hair defines differently, and we'll show you what to expect before we start.
Do you braid?
We do twists and flat twists in your own hair, but not braid installs with extension hair.
