Looking after it at home
What we show clients before they leave, in one place.
Every head of hair is different, so this is a starting point. Your stylist will adjust it for your pattern, your style and your week.

Six habits we talk about
At night
Cover your hair with a satin scarf or bonnet, or sleep on a satin pillowcase, to cut down on friction.
On wash day
Wash as often as your scalp and style need, not on a schedule. Condition first, then detangle in sections while the hair is wet and slippery.
Detangling
Start at the ends with a wide-tooth comb or your fingers and work up. Re-wet a section before you force a knot.
After a silk press
Keep it dry to keep it straight. Water, steam and humidity bring your pattern back, so wrap it at night and pin it up for showers.
After a twist-out
Let twists dry all the way through before you take them down. Separate with a little oil on your fingers, then leave it alone once it's set.
