New clients do. It takes 30 minutes and happens before any cutting, pressing or color. Returning clients can book most services directly.

Every service on the menu shows its time. Longer services, like a silk press or color, take several hours, so plan your day around it.

We work with coily, kinky and curly hair of every pattern and length. If something is outside what we do, we'll tell you before you book.

Tell us what has been on your hair, bring photos of styles you like, and bring products you want us to use. Come as you are: we wash it.

Services marked "Deposit to book" take a deposit that goes toward your service. The amount shows when you book.

Please give us 48 hours to cancel or move an appointment. If you're running late, call or text and we'll fit in what the time allows, or rebook.

Color and some smoothing products can call for one, following the maker's directions. We tell you when you book.

Children are welcome when they are having a service. One guest can wait with you, so the room stays calm.

It depends on your hair, the time and your stylist's level, and it shows when you book.

A satin scarf at night, a slow wash day and a wide comb cover most of it. Your stylist will tailor the rest to your hair.
